There's not much better than the German Autobahns for sheer exhiliration of driving fast,.,very fast.
I just love it,every time I go to mainland Europe.
And for stunning scenery it's hard to beat Norwegian countryside roads,.,.,in winter,.,yep,I love the sense of danger it can pose.One time topping a hilly curve up above Trondheim,and sliding back down the ice covered road,.,sideways no less !
I didn't have studs on.
It was absolutely freaky.I slid down for about 50 metres with my door open ready to jump.
Lucky fella,and never go without studs now.
