No. He just wants freedom for the people of Tibet. He's a freedom lover, in my opinion.

No, for the dalai llama is not a prominent figure today. The anti christ will arise once the world hits a MAJOR crisis, caused by a massive exile of people/Christians. I believe he will be from Middle East or Asia Minor, though the democratic nominee mirrors this son of perdition.

No he is a pacifist.

No. Anarchists don't believe in systems. (Although Anarchy itself is a system of not believing in systems, but that's another topic). The Dalai Lama has a system. He's a Buddhist. Buddhism is a religious system. Therefore, the Dalai Lama is not an Anarchist.

Anarchism (from Greek αναρχω -anarcho- "without archons," "without rulers",[1] á¼€ν (without) + ἄρχή (to rule) + ισμÏŒς (from stem -ιζειν)) is a political philosophy encompassing theories and attitudes which support the elimination of all compulsory government[2][3][4][5] (i.e. the state), and is often described as opposition to all forms of authority.[6] Anarchism is defined by The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Politics as "the view that society can and should be organized without a coercive state." (Wikipedia) ...just so we all know what the word anarchist means.

NO, Never. How could any one even think of HH Dalai Lama as an anarchist. He is a great Humanist radiating Love towards every one.

None of the answers above evince much if any understanding of anarchism; for this please go to anarchopedia or wiki the term "anarchism." Anarchism is anti-authoritarian, anti-hierarchy, anti-state, etc., so it would be a real stretch to hold out that His Holiness, leader of the government-in-exile of Tibet, could possibly be an anarchist. The Dalai Lama stands, after all, at the pinnacle of leadership in what was, at least once, a theocratic state, and holds a position of eminent authority in Himalaya-region Buddhism (aka Tibetan Buddhism). On the other hand, His Holiness is basically and expressly a Marxist to some degree in his critique of Capitalism, and in some other ways as well. In former times, he was sympathetic to much that the People's Republic of China and its leader, Mao Tse-Tung, were about. I believe he still does, despite his "splittist" reputation among many mainland Chinese communists. So no, the Dalai Lama (note the spelling) is not an anarchist. A buddhist may, however, BE an anarchist. But that's another topic.

No. Anarchism is the theory or doctrine that all forms of government are oppressive and undesirable and should be abolished. The Dalai Lama only wants Tibet to re-establish it's own government as it was before the latest Chinese occupation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibet With love in Christ.
