  • Pretty much all inkjets have maintenance procedures designed to deal with this sort of thing -- you stick in a blank page and hit the button ("alignment and cleaning" or whatever), and it prints a bunch of samples with numbers. You enter the numbers of the samples which look correct, and the printer stores compensation values in its memory for later. In other words, read the manual.
  • Thanks a lot for replying to my question. Not sure that will do it. I'm guessing it's more to do with something the printer is reading or not reading from my files. Perhaps something to do with postcript files or something I know nothing about. But hey, I'll try what you've suggested as I haven't any other options yet. Thanks again. Simon.
