Do you hate it when the orange button stays on, you have check all comment and answer's. But affaid to click on the "Mark as read" button, just in case?

In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't worry me greatly. Though I can see how some might find it vexing.

Yes, it bugs me too. I have used the mark as read button a couple of times, just to stop you going crazy. If someone does not reply to me i do not mind, so i think the same at times. It maybe because they had the same problem, or worse, they may think you are just a jerk. haha. I think that has happened to me. :D

Yes, but don't be afraid. You can click "Mark all as read." Just remember the last answer or comment at the top of the list so if a new one inadvertently appears, you'll know you haven't checked it. Everything will be alright;)

I just wait 3 minutes and if it's a new one it will pop up there. Then I bring up that page in new tab and if the light goes out, then I click "Mark all as read". If it didn't make the light go out, I go back page after page until I find it. I also check in my Watch list for the time stamp on any questions I asked. That usually does the trick. My light is easy to manage that way.
