  • There's the usual tactic of wearing long sleeves, but that's very temporary at best. The best tactic, in my experience, is to: 1) Stop immediately. 2) Start putting a good scar cream on the scars, which can be found at any pharmacy. Fair warning though, it's very important that you stop making fresh ones first, not only because it's just a terrible habit, but also, and I know this from experience, it is NOT a good idea to get ointment in an open wound.
  • tattoos the cream will not work on keloid scars.
  • Bio-oil
  • tattoos and skin graphs are the best way but a lot of neosporn will help too.
  • i used to self harm but dont anymore, i started using bio-oil but it did not work well enough for my scars, so i took a drastic option and got tattooed to cover them up, however because my scars were quite bad and in various places, it hurt like hell and im now quite heavily tattooed, but i love my body now and before i didnt. so i would say tattoos are the best to cover them up, if you can stand the pain as the tattooist has to go deeper than usual to cover them.
  • cover them up with make up. thats what i do. it makes the scars look older
  • you cant get rid of the scars but you can vover them up with a tattoo. if you dont want a tattoo do what i do, leave them as little badges of reminders.
