I think it will be ok if the weather is good. They cleared those beaches in record time. I still feel it was a mistake but one for which the IOC are responsible. They will do there very best it is a matter of honour. I do wonder how many Chinese athletes will fail drug tests when they win medals not many I will bet.

The ChiComs are attempting to seal up the Games in order to block all attempts to protest but the opportunity for something of a nightmare will exist until the Games are finished. There are some old men in Peking not sleeping very well these days.

Even if it is it's China, they have the world by the short and curlies so it doesn't really matter how the rest of us views them.

I will be interested in seeing how the world assesses the job they did once it's over. Right now there seems to a lot of bad press going around, and they haven't started yet.
