Pregnancy after tubal ligation (having your tubes tied) is rare, but when it happens it is usually a "tubular" or "ectopic" pregnancy. That means it's not implanted in the uterus (womb) and it is not a viable pregnancy. It must be removed as early as possible (either with a medication called methotrexate or by laparascopic surgery) in order to prevent serious and life-threatening risks to the mother.

oh boy...I hope not!

Only if they are untied.

Iam 24yr i have two kids i got my tubes tied in Dec/07can i still get pregant?
-
Yes it is possible but rare,it would more likely happen if you had clips put on your tubes as they can come off,a very small chance though. if you had your tibes cut and then tied then no chance as they wont grow back.

Six children??

There's a chick on the pregnancy message boards due a week after me... she had her tubes tied 6 years ago, was using VCF and Today's Sponge, and STILL got pregnant. Sex = babies. I'm telling you people... you can't stop a kid that wants to exist.

I have heard of it happening but it is pretty rare.
