  • One of my closest friends says that she loves it there. The sunsets are amazing, the people are nice, and it's a great place to "Start over" again...
  • also you should try the reginal section and post in there
  • My family live there. It's a horrible place to live unless you can afford to live in the pricier burbs.
  • I live in Portland. It's very nice, if you can stand the months of rain. Don't listen to people saying it's pricey. It's much cheaper than most large cities, and crime isn't very prevalent.
  • I loved it. Might move back some day. Great music scene (Ash street rules), public transportation is pretty awesome, we go to and from concerts downtown on the max train so we don't have to set up a designated driver haha All the big city stuff, but Portland itself just doesn't seem to be too crowded (yet) Great food, lots of choices, just an all around kewl place
  • We got lots of rain. we are happy, friendly people. There are a lot of artsy people here. Writers ,musicians, artists. it's because of the rain. Got to be able to keep yourself occupied indoors. On the other hand a true Oregonian goes outdoors and does whatever they want in any weather, and we are not always properly dressed for it. We rarely use umbrellas here. The beauty is incredible. Mountains, trees and lush green everywhere. We are open minded here. Free spirits. Very caring nice people. We are laid back and easy going, alotof nature lovers and outdoorsy people here. We have but one request if you want to come live w/us; Become one of us, blend in, don't bring a shitty attitude w/you (leave that in the place you got it from). Oh yeah, Don't wear I love california T-shirts here. We are not impressed.
