I think the world will never be completely free of injustice. It would be an idealistic dream if it were. Affirmative action can be a good instrument to counter discrimination, but it can also backfire if it is not used with the right amount of consideration. My perception of the current - and increasingly the future - state of society is one of increasing diversification. It will be more and more difficult to define the actual majority. One should try to see every person in society with equal respect and dignity, and on a personal level, this works - at least for me.

As long as we still have instutionalised discrimination, once those fake walls fall, the victors will call for affirmative action.
