I am going to an event at Madison Square Garden, which airport should I use?

I would fly into Newark - Liberty- just across the River in North Jersey. The traffic is lighter to and from the airport most of the time. On a national flight, you could also choose LaGuardia Airport. I would avoid Kennedy Airport if you can. The traffic is horrendous around there most of the time.
