Romero suggests that when a zombie has satisfied itself through feeding, that it usually wanders off to some place they knew in life, that was important to them. If you were a zombie, where do you think you would wander off to?

I'd wander back to the house where I'm going to move to and live for the rest of my life. ;)

Why the house I'm going to move to and not the one I'm living in now?

Because I live in Los Angeles and I hope to move to Saratoga Springs, NY.
Consequently, I'd be feeding in the upstate NY area and hopefully my wandering skills wouldn't be so decayed that I'd wander to a place 3,000 miles (4800 KM) in the wrong direction. :p

Zombie Penal Colony would shamble to Wollaston Beach in Quincy, where I used to spend a lot of time with my Dad.

This is a great question, I love it!
I suppose, once my hunger for brains had faded,
I would end up on the boardwalk, in Coney Island, in New Yory City.
And make my way through the various rides and attractions. Covered in blood, and moaning, I would
eventually make it to see the Statue Of Liberty, where I would salute her. By this time, I should be hungry for brains again.
