The dog thinks that he is helping or playing with you. He or she sees you do laundry then work in the garden so they have two and two togather and play with the clothes and take them to the other area where you evidently spend alot of time. Just tell them no with the wash in hand and scold them forcefully and overtime they will get the idea. mr Bill

How much enrichment does your dog have in her life? Enrichment is ACTIVE play with her humans...training times, walks, a job to do... A "job" would be watching the kids, becoming a Certified Therapy dog, or a Certified Search and Rescue dog who is regularly trained and WORKED...or having other animals to guard, herd, or interact with. Learning to do Agility or playing Fly Ball! Toys that are interesting...like a Kong that you can stuff with food (and even freeze...with non-fat Yogurt, and a dab of peanut butter...for her to work at for a couple of hours, trying to make sure she doesn't miss a drop as it melts!) Even non or low fat yogurt or cottage cheese...with some of her food, or tiny bits of cut up human grade beef jerky...mmmmmm..if you can get "it" into the Kong, your dog should be able to work on getting "it" out..chop, slurp..yummmm! Part of what she is doing is CREATING something TO DO. She now has a "job/game to play....she takes the "dirty" clothing article, which smells wonderfully like her beloved family members...and moves it to the yard....then she waits for YOU to discover this...then you probably SAY SOMETHING to her about it (instant interaction between you and her!!! yippee)....you take it back...and the potential game can start again! I kinda doubt her being spayed plays any part in this adventure...GOOD FOR YOU FOR PREVENTING MORE UNWANTED PUPPIES AND for cutting way back on her chances of getting breast cancer!!! BRAVO! What I think you have here...is a pretty SMART DOG...who is a little bit bored...and has taken steps to create a little game she can cause YOU to play! Lets hear it for SMART DOGGIES!!!! YEAHHHHH! (Think about it...she's not tearing anything up...that would cause you to be pissed off...no fun...she's just getting you to participate in THE GAME!) If you don't care for THE GAME = Enrichment...you'll have to create ANOTHER one that is more acceptable to you for her to learn to play! (which SHE probably will, because we already know she's pretty bright!) This is FLY BALL...a very fun game! The dog runs and leaps over the "fences" which are not too high (Usually set for the smallest dog on the TEAM..it IS a team sport!...and then the dog HITS the backboard and a ball pops out which the dog then carries BACK to you, leaping over the fences again...the team that finishes first WINS! All sorts of dogs play this game from big to little! The last photo (if it posts this time....) is of my dog, Hannah and me. WE are in training for Search and Rescue and this is a training shot. She's looking for a 13 yr old boy who is hiding for us to find...and...she did! This is great exercise, (and mostly at a walk!) really fun, mentally challenging, and hopefully with passing our certification...we'll someday HELP someone who is in trouble! We mostly run searches for little kids, Autistic children/adults and the elderly who suffer from dementia and become lost. This "game" also takes your relationship with your dog to a NEW level...you have to learn to TRUST YOUR DOG'S NOSE completely..it's awesome!
