I have both. I got my vests from One Legged Jockey (a very, very cool shop which I love, except the weird guys follow you around all the time) which is in Chichester and Portsmouth. Rather surprisingly I got my bell bottoms from a Levi outlet store in Gunwharf, portsmouth. They were going really cheap because they all had really tiny waists. Also, I got some Bell bottom black trousers for school in Devon of all places, though for the life of me I can't remember where

Sometimes thrift stores or vintage clothing stores have these items, but call them first to see. You can get leather fringed vests at some leather stores. Your Mom's closet is also a possibility (I still have 2 pairs of Lee button fly hiphugger bellbottoms, circa 1972, and no, you can't have them!)

Try posting a 'wanted' ad on your local on-line classified service. I'm sure there are loads of them in the bottoms of boxes in closets of people who just can't throw them out but who would love to find them a new home where they will be appreciated.

To get bellbottoms, you could do what we used to do in the seventies. We would cut up the seams of a pair of jeans, and sew in a triangle of cloth to make regular jeans into bellbottoms. If I can remember correctly back through the haze that was that time, we usually used a contrasting color of cloth to do this. I think one of the coolest I ever saw was a friend who used a couple of her dad's neckties as the fabric to make bellbottoms.
