"Prepare ship! Prepare ship for ludicrous speed!"
No....liver...lily-liver, that is.
"I'm not a chicken, you're a turkey."
Don't be....cocky. *snicker*
Actually I love chickens so I take that as a compliment.
Was that a double dare???? OK NOW *you* have DONE it!!!
<Strips off all my clothes and runs down the street>
Told you I'd do it!!! Who's the chicken now???!!!
No, you misunderstood..I said "it tastes like chicken"! :)
Well, since you asked...
*Goes into a long and detailed explanation of various, yet unimportant health problems*.
Bawk, Bawk!!! *doing the chicken dance*

Thats mr. roaster
Don't ever call Marty Mcfly chicken.
Meh, alright.
No, I'm a pheasant. But it's a common mistake. ;)
Bring it on....I'm always up for a good dare:)
"Go Ahead, Make My Day"
Back to the Future 1 & 2
I'm pretty sure that in the 3rd one the word chicken was replaced with the word 'yella'
You're assuming that I am Michael McFly from Back to The Future' trilogy doesn't it?
Then, you must be the bad guys then who mentioned it.
Edited because of sleep-deprivation induced navigational error. :p
No. I'm not chicken, but I don't kiss people with open sores.
Your taunting question has put me in such a fowl mood that I'm going to cross the road just to prove you wrong! ;)
Why did Brian cross the road? To prove to Carlos that he is a chicken of great courage! :p
BTW, what movie is that from?
I forgot to wear sunscreen...

What ever happened to Rick Moranis?

"...And what do we got on this thing!?! A Cuisinart!?!.." L O L!! Classic.
by Mrs.Dufresne on July 27th, 2008
I figured it wasn't, but this was just too funny to pass up. : )
I'm not sure what happened to him. I believe the last time I saw him was in "Honey, I Blew Up the Kid." I'm going to IMDB his information...
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001548/
(looks like he's been doing voice overs for cartoons)

Carlos, Dark Helmet was your father's brother's roommate! :o

That was a great movie. I think Mel Brooks may be the best comedy movie maker of all time. :)
.
I guess there are/were others worthy of that consideration too, like Woody Allen (although some consider him to be kinda creepy or even reprehensible in his personal life) and the Marx Bros.
by Brian on July 27th, 2008
Definitely one of the funnier movies I have seen. : )
by a 10sEn is the AB Ninja Lounge bartender on July 27th, 2008
I love Mel Brooks. You can have the creepy Woody Allen, though. I'm not a huge Marx Bros fan. I do like Monty Python, however. :)
by unknown on July 27th, 2008
@ Brian: Nooooooooooo!
@ Everyone: Mel Brooks films are very funny. I like "Spaceballs" very much although honestly some of the jokes are stale IMO. Latter- day Brooks's films are somewhat uneven to me.

Yeeeeesssss! Surrender to the Farce if you want to be a Jodie Knight!

High Anxiety is one of my favorite movies of all time. You just cannot beat a man getting pigeon poop all over him. :)

"Everyone: Mel Brooks films are very funny. I like "Spaceballs" very much although honestly some of the jokes are stale IMO."

Hey, c'mon- those jokes ruled 21 years ago. ;)
by Brian on July 28th, 2008
Maybe they don't translate well, Brian. :) Carlos has exceptional taste in movies, most of the time. lol
by unknown on July 28th, 2008
I remember that one Idne, haven't seen it in a long time. and thanks for that (I think) LOL
Brian: I concede most did : )
A semi-related trivia bit: Daphne Zuniga's father is a Guatemalan. : )
by Barcaluv on July 28th, 2008
"Maybe they don't translate well, Brian. :)"
.
You could be right about that, idne because I saw Woodstock when I was in Guatemala.
BTW, that was when Carlos was about 3. Some kid saw me wearing my Navy uniform and called me a "Yankee c***s****r".
He was with a younger kid who was about 3 so hmmmm.... ;)
.
The dialog was in English with Spanish subtitles.
In one part of the movie Country Joe MacDonald (I think it was he) said something like, "...for 300,000 of you motherf****rs" and the m word was translated to "...personas". ;)
by Brian on July 28th, 2008
"Brian: I concede most did : )"
.
Carlos, I reciprocate your concession by adding that even some of Mel Brooks stuff can get stale after 21 years. ;)
by Brian on July 28th, 2008
I hereby present a sincere "I'm sorry" in the name of all gringo/yankee haters LOL.
by Barcaluv on July 28th, 2008
Nada problemo, amigo. ;)
.
Actually, I kinda agreed with the kid and I thought it was funny.
For general reference, I was an Allende fan even back then. ;)
by Brian on July 28th, 2008
LOL. Wasn't Allende in Chile?
I think I know what you mean though, there was and there is still some resentment towards Americans from left wing groups in my country. Some are still pissed off at the CIA intervention and whatnot that happened many years ago.
To me that's past history, why dwell on it, yes we have been dependent on you guys (U.S.) on so many ways for a long time now but it's time for a more progressive thinking, it's a time of thinking in terms of a global community.
(Sorry for the political rant, I very seldom do this kind of thing).
by Barcaluv on July 28th, 2008
Oh how exciting to see you so animated, C. :) I didn't know you had it in you. :)

I'm just not a "standing on a soapbox" kind of guy, I guess.

I wish my damn rig would play videos the way it's supposed to, but lately myself and others seem to have issues with videos not playing.
I wonder if it was the last Firefox update?
I'm assuming this is a Spaceballs clip so I'm sure I know it but it would be nice to see it regardless.
by Capt. Jack Sparrow GALCIY on July 31st, 2008
Yes, it is a clip from Spaceballs.

I'm having trouble seeing videos with FF and seamonkey. I am loath to turn on IE but it might come down to that.
by unknown on July 31st, 2008
seamonkey? lol. That's new to me : )
by Barcaluv on July 31st, 2008
It's connected with FF. I like it. Jodie told me about it.
by unknown on July 31st, 2008
I was considering that but low and behold I seem to have gotten the bug out, it works NOW.
