Can someone tell me where is the crank position sensor located on a 1993 grand cherokee,and how to change it?

It is located behind the lower pulley(harmonic balancer).Remove All belts connected to this pulley, remove the large bolt holding this pulley,use a harmonic balance puller and remove the harmonic balancer. you should now see the sensor,remove it. On some vehicles all this is not necessary because the sensor will come off without removing anything except two 10mm bolts and replacing the sensor. Look at yours and if the sensor is accessable its a real simple job if not and you are inexperienced hire a professional to do the job. It will cost about two to three hundred dollars. Wish you luck
