Since I dont have children yet, I would say that I do it eversince I was potty-trained and I still do it until today. Putting Toilet papers is so simple. If I was the last one who used up the last piece, I would put another one.

I replace it all the time, however, my sister who is only 11 months older than me does not. She sits the empty toilet roll on the floor even though she has to go and wash her hands in the bathroom where there is a bin.

My kids, who have their own bathroom, change it all the time. I mean after all I'm not their toilet paper fairy! Other than the occasional mom I forgot to get toilet out of the closet thing, it's all them!
