  • For people who enjoy that kind of music, the atmosphere of being outside with others who enjoy the same kind of music, and who enjoy drinking and other forms of inebriation, sure, it's a good time for them... why else would they make the effort to take part in such an experience if they didn't enjoy it...?
  • The Alcohol makes the music sound better;)LOL!! . It is fun even if you don't drink it can be a nice socialized event;)!!
  • Yes Sir, they are a great time, if the band is good.
  • its a excuse to pound some brews! :D drink till the band sounds good!
  • There's no accounting for taste.
  • Some folks think it's cool to get hammered at a concert. Hey, I still toss back a few brews, but these days, I don't "recover" as easily as I used to. Plus, I want to be able to remember the concert considering how much the tickets go for these days! I like to have a few to "chill out" but don't over-do it very often any more.
  • It is fun when you are young and dumb. I've been there.
  • Ohhh it's not terrible music. The melodies are there. It's just that not everyone can hear them. It's kind of like a dog whistle. And...when did getting hammered on beer become not fun? Heh. And don't forget all the girls who lift their shirts at those things....
  • I think you have been to the wrong festival. Sitting down with a cool beer with a couple of mates listening to a great band in the sunshine is relaxing. But if its not your thing put a record on instead ;-)
  • It is actually fun if you go to the right music festival. You should check out Coachella. I went last year and had an amazing time, I wasn't even hammered or anything either and I still had fun!
  • Because oh my god, it is. Add in getting lost on the way back to the tent and getting cider thrown over you and making friends with strangers. Too fun.
