Hey everyone, my little brother really wants to get the fable 2 game for the xbox 360. though he wants the first one to so he can try it out. does it work on the 360 even though its the for original xbox? ( its going to be a gift btw )

It should work, but not in widescreen. Also, the framerate dips a little, and the game will crash if you try to run a demo.

It will work on an xbox 360 but there aren't any achievments to be earned (obviously). Also depending on his age you might want to play it first just to check to see if you think it's appropriate for him.

I do not know if fable is one of the games that runs on the 360, before you trust anyone saying it will work confirm wether this is knowledge about that specific game or assumption of general downwards compatibility. the only games I have tried that were downward compatible were the halos. mech assault was not. fable 2 was WAY disapointing. you expect at least 1 more chapter when you get to the end. the only fun battle is the second to last and that was too easy. all but the last 2 battles are just typical minion battles. and the last one you are just standing there holding (A) for about 30 seconds with no opposition and then you shoot once and it is over... I'm not even sure if you have to shoot. so many things seem irrelevant and of no consequence even though they talk like it is huge.
