A large raccoon has been eating my cat's food at night. I'm concerned for my cat. Will a light-duty cattle prod discourage the raccoon from visiting without harming it?

    HELL NO JUST CALL ANIMAL CONTROL plus you would have to get some what close and it could lunge at u plus it might kill the racoon. ive been bitten by racoon and they shoved a giant needle in my stomach that hurt like hel so dont be stupid like me and other people who have been bitten

    Wow, I like you,How did you ever come up with the idea of shocking a coon with a cattle prod.If you succeed i would love to hear about it.You would probably be the first person in history, who ever shocked a coon wth acattle prod.I dont think the coon would let you get close enough,but if you can, go for it.But just so you know, coons are tough.I have ran a trap line and have killed lots of coons.I would rather fight a grizzly than a pissed off coon.If you do decide to try,have a friend record it.You might pay your hospital bills with what you make on funniest home videos.dont forget to send me a copy.lol mike
