You can't fool me. I know it's supposed to be "...'gullible' ain't in the dictionary...' " How gullable do you think I am?

Really? I don't believe it. Well, maybe... I think I should look it up. Wait! What dictionary are you talking about? Oh no, should I look it up and find out that it is not really there or look it up and find out that it is there and I am gullible. What to do! How about the word "indecisive"?

You're not looking in the right place. It is in my dictionary "Webster's New World Dictionary", page 315.

They didn't - the typesetter misspelled it as 'gullable.'

    OR

The seagulls registered it as a variant of their name and won't allow anyone to use it unless they pay a usage fee. None of the dictionary folks will bow to this kind of extortion and have deleted it from their publication - Solidarity Forever!!

  • How come? Anyway I do know another thing. The word quality is in the dictionary, but Robert Pirsig spent over 40 typewritten pages trying to define the word. He was committed for awhile. Do you think he was gullible?
