In the song "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder, what does he mean by "girl you make it hard to be faithful, with the lips of an angel..."? Wouldn't "lips of an angel" make it easier to be faithful?

    he's talking to the OTHER girl... she makes it hard for him to be faithful because SHE has lips of an angel--not his gf

    Thanks, I get it now. He' means she is making it hard to be faithful to his current girlfriend .

    ok the song is about a guy that gets a call late at night from a old girlfriend. They broke up because they just fought alot but they still loved each other. He is listening to her talk which is making him think of her while his new girlfriend is in the other room. If the new girlfriend found out he was talking to her then they would start fighting but he don't what to hang-up the phone. Maybe he might say something or do something to hurt is new girlfriend that is why it is hard to be faithful
    Atleast thats what i get out of the song

    The lyrics to this song tells the story about a man and woman who become very close friends but later in time discover their feelings for one another are much more. The two of them at a time in their lives are involved in relationships, however in the coversation on the phone he replies to her saying "It's really good to hear your voice it sounds so sweet" Again saying to her " hearing your voice it makes me weak" what he is saying in those words are it's been a really long time since they last talked with one another and lets her also know just how hard it's been for him and .that he's "dreamt of her too". Being that the call is secretive, the man expresses concerns of a fight ensuing with her as a result. Finally the song concludes just as it began, asking her "honey why you calling me so late". It is from that phone call they both discovered just how they really felt about one another. This song is not about two people cheating, but about two people who are lonely in their lives with the relationship they have and discover one another becoming close friends It is because of the realtionships they are involved in she desides to tell him we need to move on but still wants to remain close friends with him. But as time would pass, the woman realizes that her emotions and feelings for him were now much deeper than she thought. So on that late and loney night she decides to call and tell him just how she really feels about him. It is in the coversation on the phone that he replies to her saying "that you make it hard to be faithful, with the lips of an Angel" meaning that he wishes she was there. Finally at the end of the phone call he asked her that question again "Honey why you calling me so Late"-

    In regards to the song Lips of an Angel The lyrics deal with a singer describing his feelings when his assumed ex-girlfriend calls him late at night. They are both in relationships at the time, however the singer tells of how his feelings are still predominantly with her, and it seems hers are also still with him. More than once, a reference to the call being secret is made, and the singer expresses concern of a fight ensuing as a result. The song concludes just as it began, with the singer questioning to why she is calling so late. His ex-girlfriend makes it hard to be faithful being she has lips of an Angel as he remembers her. In the end they both realize they still have strong feelings for one another but he also ask her that question "Honey why you calling me so Late"........as if to say we need to move on!!!!!!

    The "lips of an angel" refers to the girl calling him, not his girlfriend, In fact he also says he wished she (his girlfriend) was you. The lips of the angel on the phone makes it hard for him to be faithfull to his girlffriend.
