Help answer this question below.

I have a pontiac 2003 grand am. I can't get the car to start. I have just replaced the battery. The lights and radio and all the dashboard lights come on. But the car won't turn on. It makes a clicking noise, the door locks, but the car doesn�

    Your having definitely problems with start-engine, mister!

    You can try to give the start-engine a little tap with a hammer and if your lucky it will work again, but i doubt it!! I think you have to replace the start-engine. :)

    If you turn the key for all the lights like the oil and then turn it furthur to start and this is when the clicking happens then the power might not be getting to the starter motor. the clicking is the starter going into the flywheel but there is not enough power to turn the starter motor, it needs lots of power from that big cable feeding it from the battery. check that cable and get a battery connection cleaner for the inside of the clamp on the battery so it passes the battery current to the cable and to the starter. good luck!
