Oh yes, it is a common anomoly. Often it looks just like mole, but sometimes like a complete nipple and I have known one woman who had breast tissue as well and lactated after she had a baby. If you wonder if it is a third (or fourth) nipple, it has to be in the nipple line, running from the front of the armpit down through the nipple to the lower ribs. In the movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" a james bond film, the evil character had a third nipple, but they didn't get someone who knew anatomy to apply it since it wasn't placed in the nipple line and was a complete nipple. Many men have third nipples as can women.
