  • In windows try holding the "ALT" key and typing 0128 (here it is €) Alternatively, in most windows applications (word, pp, excel) you can insert a symbol such as the Euro sign.
  • You have to enter an ALT key escape sequence: On a US keyboard, hold down the ALT key, and on the numeric pad, key in 0128 -- if you don't have a numeric pad, there might be a numeric pad overlay on your keyboard by holding down the Fn key as well (!)... or you could just cut and paste the Euro symbol, from this post -- that's if it makes it through the AnswerBag database... euro symbol... € re: comments I just tried this in Windows ME, it doesn't work -- you get a black square. The ALT key sequence only works in computers upgraded to support it. If you need the Euro symbol on an old computer, then you have to upgrade the software.
