  • Remember that lady on the commercial smoking out of that hole in her neck? Remember the commercial showing what the original Marlboro man looked like before he died? You don't want to end up that way.
  • Get some Nicotine chewing gum. It helped me give up smoking.
  • Make a pact with yourself that everytime you smoke a cigarette, you have to french kiss a dogs anus. This will only work if your not into that sort of thing. If you are, you've got a much worse problem than smoking.
  • Find a better addiction. (sex)
  • Anyway, really. Going cold turkey will actually make it harder to quit and will make you about 455% more likely to start up again. More than anything, things like the patch (as long as you chew sugar-less gum at least half as often as you would have had a smoke) or the nicotine gum will work as smoking is 2 parts oral fixation, 2 parts habit and 1 part nicotine addiction. Also, try having a goal in mind. For instance, I'll have one less every Friday. By cutting your usage down slowly, and sticking to it, you'll be able to get out of the habit and give up on nicotine. You'll never stop wanting it, but you won't Need it.
