Concerning which languages have the largest vocabularies (leaving aside the issue of whether the question can reasonably be asked), if English has the largest vocabulary, which language might plausibly be said to have the second largest vocabulary?

    While English incorporates many foreign words, Spanish comes in second.

    I would say German because you can basically make up words out of bits of other ones.
