My girlfriend says she puts a tea bag on an infected ingrown hair or zit/boil like thing and it draws out the yucky stuff. Has anyone else tried this or something else?

A mixture of yeast and tea tree oil will work too... The yeast attracts the infection to the surface and the tea tree oil will kill it.

Also try a dab of cider vinegar. It will attack the infection and normalize the pH of that area of skin.

And to prevent this in the first place, use wash clothes and scrubs to help exfolliate all over.

Anything hot placed over the zit/boil will draw out the pus or magnesium sulphate paste will draw it as well.
