do we need teeth? No but it helps. Without a government no laws no democrocy and no taxs( well that would not be so bad). The economy would fall within a day and we would have no struture. So it would be like this you could kill, steal, rape, rob, and do anything you want with no punishment.(legal that is)Also we would have mobs amd mad people makeing sentences instead of a court of peers.

Unfortunately we do, because anarchy is chaos. It's the quality of government that should be called into question.

I don't think we do, but it would have to be a long process of education to dissove government system, a think a sudden shock of immediate anarchism could lead downhill,m but on the other hand once the shock has subsided there would be a proper sociological system left... I think that government leads to corruption, so no government is a fundementally positive notion.

The way I see it, humans will naturally create government if there is none. There is a hypothetical situation that I spoke of here on Answerbag before: if government all over the world disappeared instantly, and there was anarchy, the majority of people would just want to live their lives peacefully. Anyone who disrupted their peace would have to be dealt with, so they would have to band together to get rid of the disruptors. And so, you have government again.
