To see how close you are to leveling up, go to your "My Profile" page. From there, look for your level meter which is shaped like the Answerbag logo, to see how far you are from the next level.

Here are the first few Titles you can earn, and the Levels at which you earn them:

Lev el Title
1 Beginner
3 Novice
5 Contributor
10 Wiz
15 Authority
20 Expert
30 Professor

I kind of like the pointless "survey" type questions, it's just fun to take a break in the brain work to answer something perhaps silly and fun.

Zan: I agree, I like them too. My gripe is seeing one persons avatar filling the question page with nothing but "Vanilla or Chocolate", "Jam or Jelly" type questions.

true. I get that.

Your answer cracked me up. I'd read all the "200 points til level 10" and "118 points til level 39" and then I read "Like 88 million" from you and howled! No charity, dear - honest to goodness appreciation

Well, all is appreciated just the same...

I need only twenty-eight points to get to level fifty-four, but it's actually probably more like twenty-two. A level transition only happens every two weeks or so now, so this is a welcome day for me.
