I need to know the name of a band. Active late eighties/ early nineties. Bluesy/ jazzy. They were quite a large band - lead singer on piano, great saxophone. Possibly irish or scottish. (Not deacon Blue or Del Amitri). Lead singer had a great voice.

I love Deee-Lite. one of my fave groups ever. which is your fave album by them? i used to know dimitris cousn. he works here on long island as a dj in the strip clubs.

that was their only release that got popular and not their best song, though it is great, the wrote their first album around the mid 80's. very advanced electronica for that time. it wasn't released until 1990 though. check them out if you like electronica with a funky flair.
