Not a band, but a singer - Evelyn Champagne King and "Shame".
-
Definitely The Knack with "My Sharona" but I also like Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" and Gary Numan's "Cars" is great.
-
"Brandy" - Looking Glass
-
"Green Tamborine" - Lemon Pipers. Great electric sitar played by Vinny Bell.

Ride Captain Ride, by Blues Image.

I either agree with Satine and The Knack "My Sharona" (is it me or is that song just - y'know- sex in the form of music?) or The Kingsmen with "Louis Louis" (anyone who can have a whole bunch of officials searching for obscenities that aren't even there has gotta be good!)

Vapors with the song "Turning Japanese." Yes, I know it's about masturbation, but I can't seem to get it out of my head.

-
M.A.R.S. "Pump Up The Volume"
-
"The Tractors", and the hit song was "Baby Likes To Rock It"

I'd have to go with Buffalo Springfield "For What It's worth" followed by Free's "All Right Now. "Venus" by Shocking Blue is another great one as is Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares With You" and Dexy's Midnight Runners "Come on Eileen". For sheer fun, the 60s hit "They're Coming to Take Me Away" by Napoleon XIV (which was banned for making fun of the mentally ill, and whose flipside was the entire song backwards. Even the label was printed backwards.)

Slightly embarassing since Im a self-proclaimed rocker in this day & age lol. There was a group called ULTRA way back in 1999 or 2000, only released one album if im not mistaken. They had 2 tracks which I really liked back then, one was "Say you do" and other one's name escapes me.

Joe Budden came out with a song a few years ago called "Pump it Up" that I really liked. His album didn't do too well, but I have heard him featured on other rapppers' songs and I still think he's talented. He's better than some of the rappers who have come out since he did in my opinion.
