I wouldn't be jealous....not many of the movies that are out these days are even worth going to see. I agree with you, they are just way too expensive. We have a brand new 18 screen theater near us and it's about $8.50 for an evening movie...we don't go and there are only two of us!! We wait until they are out for renting! Now on the other hand our son who lives in another state goes to see everything that comes out, first run!! We think he is crazy! I often wonder just how large families get to go out for a good time with the prices being so high for everything. Even our Zoo costs $15.00 for adults and $12.50 for all kids...and it's so small it only takes about two hours to see it all plus you have to pay for parking. No, amusement parks, zoos and movie theaters are just not worth it and what makes it even worse are the rude people who are in the theaters..when I was able to go, there have been several times I have demanded my money back because of the rude people on cell phones, the ones who talk to each other through the whole movie and the rotten kids that kick the back of your seat and the idiotic parents that think it's just too cute and wont correct them! Movies are just not worth the headaches that the "other" people cause and the price is just crazy and the cost of snacks and drinks is impossible! When we were able to go to a movie we smuggled in our own popcorn and drinks!! It can be done!!
