Actually, I think it just means that they just ate and are trying to clean all the food crumbs and whatnot off of their faces. My cat licks her "lips" for like 15 minutes after she eats.

I can't tell about when they lick their lips, but you should know that when they lick their ass that means they're trying to get their turtle's head to go back in.

Maybe, whenever I get home my cats say hello by moving their nose a bit forward. They look so cute :P
