My boxer has pink skin around her mouth and under her mouth. It gets real red and irritated looking and I have treated her with hibitane/cortisone, but to no avail. What could her problem be?

She may be allergic to corn products and preservatives in her food. My sister's dog had this problem and she started feeding him Solid Gold Wolf King brand food and it cleared the irritation up within a few days. I hope this helps.

I would have the Vet chack her out as a precaution.
