probably, but in stages.....in developed countries sooner than many developing or stagnant countries.....

I think it will eventually, but it's a long time in coming. We are still in the early days of the internet. A lot of people are still buying their first computers, and don't see the value of broadband when they first get online. It takes several months to a couple of years of use for a lot of people to realize how much time they are wasting waiting for pages to load. I do think the day is coming within the next ten to fifteen years when even those who have never owned a computer will know when they finally get one that dial-up is archaic.
