  • Time cures all wounds.
  • You just do. Hard as it is, you just do. While you may think YOU'RE the right one for them (and you just MAY be), they may think someone else is, and just want to remain friends with you. BTDT. It's their decision and their heart. What you're feeling is "unrequited love", the source for many pieces of art, poems, songs, stories, etc. In fact, my suggestion is you start writing. See what I suggested for breakup situations at http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/2762628 . Most, if not all, will apply to this situation, too.
  • u know the saying... if you love them.. set them free..then if they come back.... its meant 2 be
  • I don't think it is possible. It will probably hurt less over time, and other things/people/events can have a big influence in hastening this, but it will probably still be there to some degree. You can try to let go, forget, ... but it is rather like telling yourself not to hurt even though you just broke a leg or such; healing takes time.
  • If you love them why would you want to let them go?
  • Letting go of someone you love is never easy. It's one of the most painful experience anyone can endure. The pain of the mind and heart is worst than the pain of the body. I love this man with all my heart. He loves me too but I know that I love him more than he loves me. As much as I want to continue our relationship I know I have to end it sooner or later. I have planned and think of it several times. But so far, I don't have enough courage to do it. This person becomes a part of my everyday life and I have to change a lot of things and keep me preoccupied. I hope and pray everyday that one of these days I will be ready to do it.
