I used to like Losing My Religion because it was in Beverley Hills 90210 and I used to watch that show all the time.

ooooh, another tough one, Sixty! It is impossible to choose just one, but to be fair I will say "So. Central Rain(I'm Sorry)".

Well it would be hard to say. I have seen REM 8 times through the years. If I had to pick just one it would be the following:

It has to be losing my religion.

    Artist: R.E.M. Lyrics

    Ooh, Life is bigger
    It's bigger than you
    And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
    The distance in your eyes
Oh no I've said too much, I set it up.

    That's me in the corner
    That's me in the spotlight
    Losing my religion
    Trying to keep a view
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
    I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

    Every whisper
    Of every waking hour I'm
    Choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool,
    fool
Oh no I've said too much, I set it up

    Consider this, consider this
    The hint of the century
    Consider this
    The slip, it brought me
    to my knees, failed
    What if all these fantasies
    Come flailing aground
    Now I've said too much

I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream
    That was just a dream

    That's me in the corner
    That's me in the spotlight
    Losing my religion
    Trying to keep a view
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
    I hadn't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream
    To Try, Cry, Fly, Try
    That was just a dream
    Just a dream
    Just a dream, dream

  • They are one of my favorites...it's way to hard to choose! I hope they will tour through our town with this new album. It's been 4 years since I saw them (which is only 3 times), but we were reeeeally close to the stage...it was awesome!
Here are a few of my most favorite tunes...

Truly too difficult to choose but if I did, it might be " Nightswimming."

But I, also, really like ' The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite, ' mostly for Micheal's little, incredibly appealing giggle in the middle of the song.

*** Woops- - I kept pushing the wrong button -- I'll probably have 50 answers of
    " Share your answer " ***

Anyway, I answer again with update :)

-- I still like Nightswimming but I really like now the gorgeous

" I Wanted to be Wrong " from their " Around the Sun " album

~ so many people trash this album but for me it is my favorite REM album and I think it their best overall album work.

[ ~ and, on " New Adventures in Hi-Fi," I'm awfully fond of Michael's un-musical "Ahhhh's" in ' How the West was Won and Where it Got Us ' ]
