When I visited Kansas I found it really different from Texas. I am used to mountains, freeways, roads that go everywhere, and we drive from one town to the next. Kansas is flat. There was one tollway and we had to pay constantly. If you want to visit a town you have to get off the freeway. However, I did find the culture very rich, people warm, interesting sites to see.
