Question

Help answer this question below.

Why is it that although people think I'm so amazing and close to perfect, they don't want to be involved with me at some point? I can't seem to find a best friend. Everyone ends up saying, you're great but I just can't be a best friend... Ugh.

Maybe they are doing so much "un" great things and they know they can't hold up the bar to you. Therefore, it's probably a good thing because us sane people wouldn't like for you to get corrupted. You'll find another great, wonderful and close to perfect friend as long as you get all of those darks clouds away from you to really be seen.

Are you sure it is not a little self absorption or arrogance getting in the way of being best friends.

    None of us are perfect.

I've always been the person who people call "the nice girl". You know the sterotype hehe. I have a best friend, and several close friends, but a lot of people don't get closer because I don't gossip or do stuff that they do. People don't want to put themselves above stuff that they do I think. That sounds horribly arrogant, I know, but I've heard people say it. No one wants to not do the fun stuff, it's fun, and they want to be around other people who do that stuff. I may be way off on your situation, so sorry if I am. Basically, what everyone else has said is right. People feel guilty.

It sounds more like they fear and avoid you because they believe you are a sociopathic narcissist.
