  • Your game probably has a glitch. Are you only trying to play one game? Or is it doing this on all games.
  • this does this for every game
  • huh. maybe you should take it to gamestop.. or any other game store. Your systeym probably has a glitch. I think you should either buy a new one or get it fixed.
  • i've been thinking about buying a new one. i was just seeing if anyone knew what's wrong
  • Could be the belt that spins the disk is slipping, they do stretch out after a time or with alot of use. It may be financially worthwhile to have it replaced.
  • try the lid sensor switch i repaired my own for around £10 yes it was doin the same thing not now ive replaced this simple switch
  • The problem you are having is caused by the belt that turns the disc. It is probably stretched and slips when the gamecube gets hot (after 15 minutes, as you say). You can't fix the problem yourself, but you can work your way around it. Just keep the gamecube extra cold. Place it on top of an AC vent or in a fridge while you play. If you keep the temp cool enough, you will be able to play continuously. Good luck.
  • Mine was doing the same thing Game stop or any place like it will trade yours in for a used one for like 50 bucks plus give you like a year or more warranty so you can replace it for free if anything goes wrong I think the warranty is like 10 bucks
