  • I don't have an answer but I will suggest you start by strengthening your body and learning how to stretch. These two things will help you and maybe avoid some very possible injuries. Especially pulled muscles and even serious tears to soft tissue.
  • East Coast Swing is one of the easiest dances to learn. I'd encourage you to build from there. Most of the songs are ECS so you won't have a shortage of places to dance when you go out and usually that type of place attracts a crowd more appropriate to your age. The skills you need for Salsa may be a bit too overwhelming for a beginner and may get discouraged. You'll need to go to clubs for this type of dance and the crowds are very young
