You're reading How would you compare the lives of slaves before the Civil War to that of prisoners in todays prisons?

Impressive. I think you paid more attention in social studies than you lead me to believe.

LOL..actually I was a good student!
Also, aren't prisoners allowed an education?
I've heard that many study law while incarcerated--paid for by honest citizens.
IDK if that's true though.

Probably is true.

Did you ever have a look at the conditions of life a prisoner has ?
In some prisons 24 hours a day in tiny little cell alone?
Even if I had to work for my mistress or master as horse and work like I horse, I would prefer slavery because using me as their slave they need to keep me in good state and I would not have to spend the rest of my life in a boring and rotten cell.
And I would not even fear that they could sell me to anybody else.
No question at all for me that I would prefer a life as a slave to a cell in a prison.
As a slave I would see daily quite normal people and could move around and although I would have to work hard for my owners and have to fear the whip, I would really prefer.
I think any mistress or master who would be my owners would be better than prison.
