Help answer this question below.

Some people claim that they can contact spirits, they call themselves psychic mediums or spirit messengers. If this is true I am sure they can give us some insight of life after death?

    There are many books out there that answer your question. Two authors that I know of are Sylvia Browne and Jon Edward.

    Nope because life after death doesn't happen unless a doctor hits you with the electric shock paddles and even then..no show.. When you die that's it.. Kaput!

    As always the answer depends on your religious believes. I can only answer as a christian. If a person is communicating with the "other-side" they are at odds with what the bible says. We are given strict warning to have nothing to do with it. These individuals are in fact contacting demons and devils masquerading as loved ones past on. From the ouija to tarot cards to psychics the devil uses these avenues as a doorway to gain influence and access in ones life. You will not get insight,knowledge or revelation. Obression is all these spirits offer. Stay away.

    Just because someone can communicate with spirits doesn't mean they can read the future 0.o
    And obviously that's the spirits life after death, being a spirit. So I don't think they'd know very well either? They say "ghosts" are only "ghosts" because they had unfinished business or whatnot.

    adam and eve were told that if they disobeyed the law of eating of the forbidden fruit, they would return to the dust from where they had been taken. (genesis 2:16,17; 3:19) indicating that at death nothing survives the body. the soul and spirit that make up the human being cease to exist.(eclesiastes 9:5,10)so, these individuals that say they can contact spirits, are in actuality not contacting dead persons. when you're dead, that's what you are dead. every function you once had ceases at death. who are the spirits being contacted? these are none other than wicked spirits, demons that enjoy parading as humans and disguising themselves as if they were deceased humans. the ability to contact these spirits is an extremely dangerous practice, and one that the bible condemns.(deuteronomy 18:10-12)
