  msummers 10 - I've got a flash for you. Terrorism has increased 100 fold since our illustrias leaders opened up Pandora's Box by attacking Irac. You haven't seen anything in our own country you may to refer to as terrorism like you will sometime in the future because of our stupid actions of illegally attacking a country that had nothing to do with the terrorism you are referring to. Incidentally, there were no "weapons of mass destruction". Only a pack of Pitbulls that had it in for Irac's leader.

• Hey msummers 10: Irregardless of what they found in barrels or cannisters, they were no threat to us as was Sadam himself was no threat to us. As a matter of fact, there was no terrorism in Iraq until we went in and I use "WE" lightly. You must be watching news from FOX which is known to be biased. Personally, I'm not a conservative nor am I a liberal and I'm definately not a terrorist. I'm just for what's best for our young men and women who are being slaughtered in Iraq for no more good reason than for a few people high up to get rich on this lousy damned war that our unconcerned leaders have started. Don't you care about those young service people's lives at all? I do, there families and loved one do, and I'm sure they do themselves! You see, I was in the Viet Nam war. That was another useless war that should have never been. We lost over 75,000 of our best there and accomplished nothing. President Johnson got plenty rich off it though. How many do we have to loose in Iraq before people wise up. Our service men and women there don't even know who the real enemy is but their enemy knows who they are. I say let the Iraqies fight there own fight and bring our people home so they can prepare for the terrorism that's surely bound to come because of what our leaders have done there. Someday you'll see blood running in the streets here like it's happening in Iraq right now. Have you ever seen "Farenheidt 9/11". Maybe you should. This report was far from biased. Unfortunately, many conservatives really don't want to know the truth. They can only see the conservative point of view. I know, I have a brother that is that way. Even if you prove him wrong, he still sticks by the conservative point of view. I'm not saying the Liberals are any better, I'm just saying no one is always right including myself but I do have empathy for service people that die for a useless, illegal war and that's better than any conservative or liberal point of view. Perhaps if you had a son or daughter in the service heading for the perils of being stationed in Iraq, you'd see things a little different. Let's hope that never happens to you.

• Maybe I am biased. I was born and raised here and spent a few years in the military to support, upholding and defending the US Constitution, a document that guarantees us many rights that people in other countries do not enjoy. Granted, our current government has effectively stripped our nation of it's former greatness in that area, but that is a separate issue. Our economy is big and strong (also declined though). We have more opportunities to succeed (or fail) greatly. If only we would take better care of the poor and the environment and undo the stupid mistakes of the Bush administration....

• I realize the "house of cards" of our current economic situation, and that is part of why I believe our status is likely to plummet soon. However it hasn't totally crashed yet. Yet. Savings as a percentage of income averages less than 0%, so people are spending more than they earn. In the long-term, that is unsustainable. I am not stupid enough to assume otherwise. I am not ready to bail out on America, though I am keeping an eye on what it'd cost to move to Australia. I loved Perth when I was there, and moving IS looking more attractive. :)
