  • Most cities won't let you set-up house on a public street. Do you see alot of RV's parking close to UCR? Probably not. Most cities have zoning laws and parking codes. Even if you parked on private property and lived there, you might be in violation of the city codes. Your best bet is an RV park, where it is legal, but a fee is required. But you'll have access to sewer and grey water dumping which you need. Also having a plug-in for electrical and even cable tv for your RV. You can drain your battery in no time. So think the RV thing through and based on the distance and if feasible to actually buy an RV.
