Can you get homeowners insurance (fire, theft, etc) for a motorhome?

    If you classify your motorhome as a residence with homeowners insurance then they can tax you for property and school taxes. Best to just insure it as a vehicle and leave it at that! Then the land it sits upon is just undeveloped and less expensive!

    Hello,

    I have signed up just to answer this question. I am new to living in a Motorhome, but fortunately I have relatives who have vacationed long term in motorhomes who were able to help somewhat.

    Yes, you can get full insurance. The company I use is Foremost.

    If anyone has any other option which might be better, I am inclined to listen. The policy I have is more than I had thought to find at a much lower price than I thought to find, but I would like to find better insurance for contents than Foremost currently offers.
