  • I can't speak for the world, but there are such places in the U.S. I know there is at least one place in Virginia that this is the case, it houses both trailers and motorhomes. People do live there full time.

There are hundreds of RV parks around the country that have full time, 12 month a year residents, usually in the southern US, because most northern parks close from about October to March,(too cold). Many full-timers live in the south for the winter, then wander north for the warmer seasons. Thus the term "snowbirds".

Yeah they are called "Dignity Villages" where low class unemployed and criminals gather round.

You should see the trash they leave when ordered to do so.

Filthy and they call it "Dignity"??

    Yeah right.

Yes there are many such communities. They usually allow all kinds of rv's though including motorhomes, traveltrailers, fifth wheels as well as mobile homes. Many impose limits on size, condition and age of vehicle, number of occupants, etc. Prices vary considerably by amenities offered, size of the space and general standard of the park. Some parks dont allow outside storage and others are designated as senior parks for those over 55 only. Many restrict size and number of pets and overnight visitors. Check out several parks at different times of the day.I know this is an old posting but thought it might interest plenty of people who are being squeezed beyond what they can bear by the ever increasing, cost of housing, food, fuel, utilities, insurances, taxes. You will give up your breathing room but this arrangement can work for 1 or 2 people.
