Does it annoy you when someone you are associated with acts a certain way and then you automatically get lumped into that even if you're the opposite?

Yes, I had a friend who is sort of the opposite of me, these guys almost treated us like we were the same. She liked sex and the city, I didn't, but they assumed I did too. That's just an example but it kind of pissed me off. I guess the saying "birds of a feather flock together" may not be necessarily true, but others will see it that way.

yeah that happened to me in religion class. It is a mandatory class and we are obligated to take it. My friend is not a religious person and she hated it, so she skipped class all the time. The teacher started to treat me the same way and assume I was skipping class when I had a legit reason to be away.
