  • I got mine a beautiful, luxurious new set of sheets. They're so expensive, and after 20 years most people are just using what they have. I gave them sheets, matching pilowcases, and some chocolates (like the ones you find on your pillow at a hotel).
  • I would give them something that combined all of their children. I know my mother-in-law loves music and she passed that on to her kids. Getting everyone in on just one really special thing might be easier and more meaningful than one item, but I guess it depends on the family.
