Regarding Physical education in schools. Some feel it is a waste of time. Do you think it should be mandatory?

I think it should be made optional. Personally I disliked physical education when I was in school because it was taught as if it was also like the regular subjects like Science and Math. It became another boring subject for me because of that.

Just as manditory as a foreign language should <EDIT: used to> be. Slacking off on stuff like this deprives people of a well rounded education, which serves them (and everybody else) better as they grow and develop.

I think it is very important to have PE in schools. Alot of kids have all the gaming systems and computers at home, so school may be the only place they get exercise. It is the parents responsibilty to make sure their kids get exercise at home, but not all do.

Within reason it's fine (don't forget to allow for showering)
