  • Most vehicles from major car manufactures require a job done after 30K or 40K miles by a certified dealer. This job usually includes changing of fluids, checking and replacing certain type of wiring and filters and basic check of the health of the vehicle. The light could be a reminder that your vehicle is due for such a job.

  • go to a dealer or a mecanic who is equiped to read the actual messsage in your computer
  • I had that happen to me on my car and it turned out to be that when I had last filled up for gas I hadn't put the gas cap back tight enough. Try checking that.
